Abstract

The first-party declaration is a mechanism that allows the producer, constructor or designer to demonstrate the conformity of the products and electrical installations or designs according to the requirements and formats established in the RETIE following the principles of the IEC 17050 technical standard. The standard shows the requirements that must be taken into account for the preparation of the certificate of conformity, but this is interpreted in different ways. Therefore, this document corresponds to the formulation of the first part declaration guide for the conformity of products, electrical installations and designs according to RETIE, it will explain to each manufacturer, constructor or designer, what are the requirements that must be taken into account before subscribing a certificate to minimize the risks for the responsibilities that a certification implies.
