Resumen
This internship report details the pedagogical intervention of an undergraduate student in Humanities and Spanish Language from the Universidad Distrito Francisco José de Caldas at the Guarinocito Educational Institution. This internship was aimed at strengthening cultural roots and the competencies of reading, writing, and orality in Guarinocito's students, using the landscape, nature, and local sociocultural environment as central axes of the pedagogical process. Through a methodology based on sentipensar (the integration of feeling and thinking) and literary creation in various forms such as prose, poetry, and orality, the students explored their relationship with the territory and expressed their experiences through poems, stories, and tales. To achieve this, lesson plans and interventions were designed and adapted to the local context, promoting a deep connection between the students and their environment. This approach was grounded in the theories of Orlando Fals Borda and Arturo Escobar on sentipensar, as well as in the perspectives of authors such as Gianni Rodari, Andrzej Szczeklik, and Humberto Maturana, who emphasize creativity, the relationship with nature, and collective learning. As a result, the students not only improved their language skills but also developed a stronger sense of belonging and connection with their community, creating narratives that reflect their cultural and emotional identity. This process was documented in a travel journal and presented in a final multimedia report.
