Abstract

The language and money are two fundamental aspects of men's daily lives both share characteristics that enable interactions from socially established parameters in the literary field money fiction expresses an important phenomenon of inquiry that understands its nature from a symbolic reality the aim of this research is to reflect on the link between money and literature through analysis of the various ways in which economic capital intervenes in social relations and cultural dynamics in the novel Hombre dinero by Mario Bellatin. This study originates from a qualitative approach to research from the phenomenological method as a possibility understanding of the reality and phenomena surrounding the existence of the subject, the conscience of the characters and their conception of the Lifeworld. As a result, this investigation originates from a research process that seeks to identify the various meanings of money and its symbolic value, through the understanding of capital as a social and economic reality.
