Resumen
This research is guided by the methodology of systematization of experiences, developed during the second semester of 2023 within the framework of the academic component Research and Pedagogical Practice II, in the Hospital Classroom of Health & Life IPS, a clinic specialized in mental health. This systematization followed a qualitative research approach, in which the relationship between language and emotional expression was analyzed based on the collection of narratives from hospitalized students who shared their voices, emotions, and personal experiences. From this, the relevance and impact of emotions on learning processes were identified in a context that highlights the contributions of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), which emerges as a comprehensive approach to emotional education, as it promotes and recognizes student diversity. The teaching practice is thus marked by a significant social responsibility and a particular capacity for action, whose most powerful tools lie in language, listening, and communication—particularly from the perspective of the Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and Spanish Language at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
