Enseñanza del concepto “Función de relación” mediante trabajo cooperativo con estudiantes de grado quinto del colegio ciudadela Colsubsidio

Resumen
The objective of this study is to evaluate the appropriation of the relationship function concept in the fifth grade students of the colegio ciudadela Colsubsidio in the city of Bogotá D.C. cooperative learning was used as a work methodology, for which an analysis of the methodology used by teachers in the institution was carried out based on an observation instrument. Subsequently, an intervention was carried out in the classroom of 5 sessions, each session was accompanied by a brief explanation and an activity that was developed in cooperative work groups which were shaped taking into account the heterogeneity of the students. Finally, from problem situations postulated by the students it was possible to demonstrate that 7 out of 10 groups adequately related the concepts: senses, nervous system and endocrine system, therefore, a significant learning was generated against the concept "Relationship function", In contrast, the other groups handle some of the concepts mentioned above, but do not argue their relationship correctly. Although class observations show that most teachers use traditional methodologies, it is necessary that these encourage the development of cooperative learning, this work shows that the learning of the "relationship function" was significant using this methodology in just 5 sessions in front of to the memorization imposed by the traditional methodology.
