Resumen
The lexical competence is little taught and the perspectives that guide the work do not respond to sociocultural approaches to promote orality in formal educational contexts. This is because competency development practices remain focused on activities such as looking up the dictionary or assigning synonyms without any communicative sense. In this way, it is highlighted that, in classroom practices on oral learning, the use of informal language prevails over formality. It is here, where the teaching of lexical competence accesses the alternation of the use of words in a range of linguistic and pragmatic possibilities in order to minimize the obstacles that arise when talking about topics that require levels of formality. Therefore, from the action research approaches, this context is intervened through the mediation of the pedagogical classroom project, which in turn includes the design of the video tutorial as a teaching-learning activity that motivates students to develop stages where they reflect on elements of formal orality.
