Resumen
he Dutch trumpet player, Maite Hontelé, talks about the release of her second single, "Ayúdame Inspiración" (Help Me Inspiration), which features guest singer Vicente García. This salsa track is a preview of her upcoming album, "Cuba Linda" (Beautiful Cuba), which is set to be released in the second half of the year and was recorded in Cuba.
Maite explains that the collaboration with Vicente García came about easily, as he was enthusiastic about the project and the opportunity to record in Havana under the direction of Colombian producer Juancho Valencia (from Puerto Candelaria) and the Cuban Alain Pérez, who is also the song's composer. The album's first single was "Casi muero" (I Almost Died), recorded with the Orquesta Aragón.
In addition to Vicente García, the "Cuba Linda" album will include other notable collaborations, such as Robertón (from Los Van Van) and Goyo (from ChocQuibTown), as well as Juancho Valencia's participation on various instruments. As an exclusive, Maite announces that the album will feature an instrumental track with a chorus that she composed herself.
Finally, Maite, who considers herself Colombian despite maintaining her Dutch nationality for travel reasons, invites the public to listen to the single "Ayúdame Inspiración" on digital platforms. She also announces that, although the album will be released in the second semester, she will offer a special concert in Bogotá on June 23rd, with plans for more performances nationally (Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, the Coast) and internationally (Curaçao, Aruba, Mexico).
