Resumen
The research entitled The graphic narrative identity in the classroom is gestated in the formative process of its author based on his concerns for narrative, image and expression, within his academic career and his questions about art in the Bachelor of Arts from the Francisco José de Caldas District University. As an interpretive research, he worked on one of the fields of interest in art, specifically, graphic narrative identity and its relationship with the question of compassion, and includes three important elements of analysis: identity, collective memory and emotion. The theoretical framework is installed from authors such as: Maturana 1992; Buxarrais, 2006; García-Baró; 2008. The purpose of the investigative exercise was to recognize drawing and plastic expression as a place of creation for the construction of graphic narrative identity and collective memory that promotes conditions of compassion; intention worked from the artistic and pedagogical order with students from the Colegio Gimnasio Santa María del Alcázar. As part of the research contribution, it was possible to understand how narratives from expression and image in the classroom converge on a horizon with possibilities to consolidate the recognition of oneself and the other from the point of view of compassion.
