Elaboración De Un Modelo Digital Arquitectónico De La Edificación De La Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose De Caldas – Sede Bosa Porvenir

Abstract

The District University Francisco Jose de Caldas recently open its doors to a new HEADQUARTERS located in the seventh locality, Bosa, its Porvenir headquarter in a fully dedicated complex to higher education. For this site is created a contest that was won Gustavo Perry, Architect, the headquarter have a 28.374,06 squared meters of area under cover. There are several ways to perform surveys, depends its extension and detail level, for this reason we propose the creation of a digital model generated from the use of the laser 3D technology for the Porvenir headquarter. This survey results points clouds this ease the visualization in three dimensions of the building. For the detail level that we require it is necessary that the digital model has a precision of topography work in such a way the digital model will serve for get information of the building, also it’s a way of implement a new trend in surveys called BIM (Building Infotmation Model), this means that doing this activities, the work is guaranteed in a quality aspects of the final product, the point cloud in three dimensions with a higher level detail for the external surveys.
