Estudio de vulnerabilidad al cambio climático en bosques secos tropicales (Bs-t) en el departamento de Nariño, para el empoderamiento y toma de decisiones

Abstract

The study and analysis of the changes and the climatic variability; in the last years it has taken great importance, to avoid economic, physical and social implications on the populations and the territories, for being a phenomenon of global character. In this context, the work of degree developed in modality of pasantía, in the frame of the Program " Manos a la Paz" in the project Use and Conservation in Dry Forests of the strategic lines of the Program of the United Nations (PNUD); the results of the analysis of the vulnerability to the climate change, it obtained by three indicators: exhibition, sensibility and adaptative capacity; by means of the construction of a line base that allowed to identify strengths and important potentials at local and regional levels of the study area, mainly because of the natural wealth that is present in the dry forest; also it was the analysis of the social and environmental component the interpretation of temperature and precipitation data recorded during 30 years of station Pascual (Samaniego, Nariño) and the accompanying and support measures for adaptation and empowerment that bring forward the programme of theUnited Nations (PNUD) and the Association of rural landscapes.
