Resumen
Immersion calorimetry is versatile in the study of textural characterization, acid-base electronic interactions at the solid-gas and solid-liquid interface for the determination of morphologies and adsorption or catalysis processes. In the same way, it presents parameters that can be related to the acid-base characteristics between the solvents to be used, with different Gutmann numbers and the surface groups present in the MOFs. Therefore, as a textural characterization technique, it turns out to be adequate to understand the nature and chemical interactions that a MOF can have. On the other hand, the Gutmann number is used to measure the polarity of solvents, which means that it is the ability of solvents when they act as donor electronic pairs, donor electronic pairs, acceptor electronic pairs, and, the interaction with solutes and electrolytes. Thus, the Gutmann donor number is expressed in kcal mol-1 and implies the capacity of a solvent in the solvation of cations or Lewis acids (electron acceptor). In this way, and taking advantage of the versatility of immersion calorimetry, in the present work the study of the textural characterization of MOF F-300, 199 and ZIF-8 was proposed, with solvents with different Gutmann numbers.
