Abstract

Galería Santa Fe is a public project aimed at promoting the exchange of artistic practices, knowledge, and experiences developed by visual artists in Bogotá. It is coordinated by the Management of Plastic and Visual Arts of the District Institute of the Arts. Currently, the management of plastic arts at Galería Santa Fe is seeking to recognize, carry out, and promote pedagogical and educational practices that aim to promote, exchange, and mediate knowledge and experiences in two areas: workshops and guided visits with the stakeholders of the field of plastic and visual arts, their audiences, and the citizens of Bogotá. My involvement in Galería Santa Fe, alongside the Management of Plastic Arts at the District Institute of the Arts, has encompassed various areas, from curating and organizing exhibitions to supporting cultural events. This unique experience has not only provided me with a deep insight into the curatorial process but has also strengthened my skills in project management and interaction with artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts.
