Contenedor automatizado para la separación de residuos reutilizables y no reutilizables (R-GEA)

Abstract

A detailed description and development of a prototype of an automated container and solid waste classifier, capable of differentiating between reusable and non-reusable waste, is presented. This prototype uses an artificial intelligence algorithm that is controlled through a mobile application which is connected to an Esp32 microcontroller; applying advanced concepts of industrial electronics, management of measuring instruments, use of motors and automation. The main objective of this project is to address the problem of pollution generated by solid waste and actively contribute to the protection of the environment through the implementation of cutting-edge technology in waste management, promoting a more efficient and sustainable classification of the same. .
