Resumen
The current tesis demeostrate the thoughts that arise from the author while creating children's songs with Colombian rhythms. At first, the ideas revolve around what is the reality of children's music in Colombia and it´s pedagogical character at school; in a second moment, an analytical view is proposed from history, geography and colonization, finding a reason to whys and hows to create Colombian music aimed to children; The answer is the commitment as an artist and teacher to recover and dignify their identities, territories and stories. In a third moment, the creative act is resented. As the author, I purpose these songs to be a journey to the readers and listeners of the musical pieces. Each song is located in a Colombian´s geography: “Los secretos de Mambrú y Misifú” cumbia from the Colombian Caribbean, dedicated to child self-care; “camaleón reciclador” pango from the Pacific Coast that invites you to recycle; “El perro bambuquero” Andean bambuco to tenderly teach the 1,2,3, 4,5,6 of the 6/8 compass and how to create another world from one world; “El Burrito cirramplero” a cowherd song/plain passage from the eastern plains, which proposes a sensitive look at the world and its inhabitants. The fourth moment is of reflection and thoughts that are important for the writer and for all teaching artists.
