Resumen
The current document is about a research carried out at Floridablanca IED school, the population took into account was tenth graders. During the research process the main aim was to expose the understanding about the Colombian armed conflict as a result of the sociocritical analysis, it was developed from the Spanish language subject in which literature, supported specifically the testimonial stories, those stories were the beginning and the connection that let students broaden and change their points of view towards the conflict from a critical position in which prevail the active listening skill of the different victims’ narrations. In order to introduce the voices of the armed conflict in the classroom, it was necessary to take into account some theoretical constructs related to the conflict, testimonial stories and socio- critic, as the main concepts of this research, based on them, the research methodology was designed taking into account the principles of the ARE (Action Researh in Education) proposal, in which qualitative research techniques were applied as a way to gather information and after that analyzing and interpreting it taking into consideration the concepts from the sociocritical theory. As a result, it was identified the students ‘notions and its transformations towards the armed conflict and also it was possible to establish the understanding of the topic that appears in the process of comprehension of two narrations students chose.
