Apoyo a la oficina de gestión ambiental en la consolidación de una base de datos y creación de una herramienta geográfica de los tratamientos silviculturales de los proyectos de infraestructura desarrollados por el IDU

Abstract

The purpose of this document is to show the design of a geographic database for the capture of information on the forestry component, guidance for its creation and completion. Its design took into account the IDU's project life cycle, the elaboration of a process diagram of the forestry activities of the projects carried out by the IDU, documentation associated with the stages and phases with respect to the forestry component, as well as information from one of the projects executed by the IDU. Based on the above, the most relevant variables were selected to define the conceptual and logical model of the geographic database. The development of this work is framed in the work plan of the internship developed in the Environmental Management Office of the Urban Development Institute-IDU. The scope of the project has covered the determination of the information that needs to be stored, the design and construction of the geographic database, the loading of the information of the model project and the generation of instructions for its design and implementation, in order to provide the IDU with the inputs for the development of a practical tool that allows an improvement in the consultation of the information.
