Abstract

The purpose of the work is to carry out a pre-feasibility study for the assembly of a red tilapia production company in geomembrane ponds. Bearing in mind that Colombia is a country with great fishing potential due to the large number of water sources it has, on the other hand, not only in Colombia but in many other countries indiscriminate fishing has generated that even many species are extinct in this moment. The use of this mechanism of production or cultivation of fish in the geomembrane pond is relatively new in the country, but has contributed greatly to a better practice in terms of crop management in all aspects from the way quality is handled of water as in planting densities.
