Gestión de Escenarios Deportivos en Universidades Públicas y Privadas de Bogotá (Estudio de caso)

Abstract

Exploratory research - descriptive in a study on sports venues in four universities in Bogota, these are; District University of Bogotá, National University of Colombia, Javeriana University and University of Applied and Environmental Sciences (UDCA). The research is built from a theoretical approach and later its contrast to preliminary field work. In the latter, students of universities (considered the main users) on the construction, maintenance and operation of sports venues in each of the universities are consulted; Of course, this information is crossed with the data collected in dialogue with the managers and administrators of these scenarios, to finally establish that although some universities have more sports facilities than others and this allows them to further development of the sport, still lacking to advance in terms of the administration of the infrastructure, for a more active involvement by students with sport; either college or sport as common practice in the general context of student social spaces.
