Resumen
This document tries to contribute to the study of electoral behavior, especially in the young population. Hence, it intends to look in what variables offer a more precise approximation of the young people's intention to vote for the Mayor's Office of Bogotá D.C. in 2019, taking as case of study the students of the Bachelor of Foreign Languages from Francisco José de Caldas University. Studying socio-economic, rational, cognitive and psychological, the main conclusion is: the intention to vote in observed students, rather than depends on a rational situation or social positions, is like a game of emotions and negotiations with own values, where whoever aligns with them and does not arouse feelings of discomfort when thinking about a possible victory will be the decision to choose.
