Estudio de Identificación y Evaluación del Riesgo Biomecánico en el Personal Logístico de Suministros e Impresos S.A.S

Abstract

This document presents the development of an suitable identification, assessment and evaluation process of the biomechanical risk in the Suministros e Impresos S.A.S logistic staff, in which it was identified a very high biomechanical risk in 4 of 5 macro activities executed by the staff, the previous it is confirmed for merchandise receivement, merchandise location, order enlistment, merchandise checking and merchandise vehicle loading activities; through application of assessment methods such as NIOSH, REBA and OWAS. Besides it presents a prevention and control propositional phase and its cost-benefit analysis where it defines that the benefits of implementing the eleven recommendations proposed duplicate the costs. These recommendations can be summarized on the purchase of mechanical aids for load manipulation and the implementation of an epidemiological surveillance system for musculoskeletal disorders.
