Resumen
The municipality of Quetame, located in the department of Cundinamarca, presents a notable vulnerability to landslide phenomena compared to other municipalities nationwide. This susceptibility is mainly attributed to seismic events linked to geological dynamics, such as the presence of the Guaicaramo fault, and to its steep slope, together with climatic conditions of high precipitation and humidity. In order to identify high-risk zones in the urban area of the municipality of Quetame, a methodological process was carried out that included an exhaustive bibliographic review to precisely delimit the study area and comprehensively analyze the phenomenon of landslides. Direct and indirect information was collected, such as meteorological, seismic and lithological data, through field visits and the use of drones. These data were processed with specialized software to create digital terrain models, determine slopes and generate detailed landslide risk maps.
The results obtained were analyzed using models that evaluated landslide hazards and vulnerabilities, culminating in the creation of a risk map. This information was disseminated through an accessible web map, and preventive measures were proposed based on the identified risk analysis. Overall, this research provides a detailed overview of the landslide risk areas in the area.
