Resumen
The following research presents the route of the project entitled: "The teaching of argumentative writing in the textbooks of spanish language in grade 11º" where a content analysis is performed on a corpus constituted by two books of spanish language of degree 11 of the Norma and Santillana publishing house edited between 2006-2010. In order to understand the characteristics of the activities on argumentative writing proposed by these texts. These arises from the ethnographic context reading in which evidence a real problem in the students of the different levels of education when writing different types of texts. In the same way, it is evidence that there is a great relationship about how teachers use different instructional tools in the classroom to teach writing, privileging the school textbook. For this reason, the analysis of these activities that propose these didactic materials is propose to recognize their importance and relevance in the classroom.
