Resumen
Research focused on identifying the incidence of a Virtual Learning Environment in the development of metacognitive skills of planning, organization and evaluation in eleventh grade students of secondary education for which the ADDIE instructional model is applied in its design adapted to a language close to the population under study, thus encouraging their participation and development and allowing them to recognize their own learning needs, which allowed the creation of a specialized instrument in the identification of related metacognitive skills whose subsequent validation allows us to carry out their implementation at the beginning and at the end of the development of the EVA with high reliability indices, all this identifying a high degree of metacognitive development in the students at the end of the investigation.
