Abstract

This document explains the production process of recyclable materials from solid waste discarded by students, administrators, teachers and other personnel that may generate any waste within the Technological Faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University such as: PP (Polypropylene), PE (Polyethylene) AND PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). The above is done to generate the production of pellets that can later be reused in other companies as raw material for the manufacture of new products, initially this process will becarried out in a formative way. To carry out a good production process for solid waste (PET, PP, and PE), several subprocesses are carried out that are important for its proper development. First, the classification of each of the waste according to its composition and characteristics, this is done from an investigation on each of the materials, the measurement of the time of its useful life and the possible ways to reuse them, without going through overlooking that they are widely used materials and easy to recycle; within the study the amount of material of this type that is generated annually within the Faculty of Technology is evidenced.
