Resumen
The need to improve their productivity indexes has been evidenced in small and medium enterprises. (2018, Quintero), which can be supplied through the optimization of human resources, the increase in speed in the production process and finally, the stability or the constant of quality in relation to customer expectations. The first element indicated above, allows the reduction of direct production costs, the second, increases the efficiency of the machine, the third, promotes the competitiveness of the company in the national market. It is then, in the aspect of innovation where the SMES have greater shortcomings, specifically, machinery innovation. Taking this as a basis, will be shown how through a redesign process, which could be categorized as machinery innovation, ensures the reduction of the human resource of 4 to 2 people is guaranteed, the speed is increased by readjusting the bimanual control and the guidelines of quality in the final product, immersed in the framework of the QFD model. In addition, several underlying problems will be solved previously identified diagnosis: insufficient safety model of corrugated board machine due to a front vacuum guard, inappropriate waste generation and unstable ergonomics.
