Resumen
The use of bicycles as a means of transportation has increased in the city of Bogotá but faces difficulties in the lack of safe and efficient parking spaces. Bicycle theft is a growing concern, and the current public and private bicycle parking spaces are not sufficient and do not offer the necessary security. This project aims to propose a secure bicycle parking system in Bogota using Smart technology, based on an automated process and articulated through a knowledge management model. The proposed solution includes the use of smart bicycle parking lots with validation systems, security designs, and storage technologies. In addition, it is proposed to leverage IoT technology to interconnect bike racks and provide real-time information on space availability, thus helping to avoid congestion in bike racks. The system is based on the collection of information and the use of artificial intelligence to continuously improve the user experience; in addition, a knowledge management model is proposed that involves users, systems and agents, for decision-making and efficiency in the management of the system. Integration with the public transportation system would allow for better coordination and optimization of the use of bicycles as a means of transportation, contributing to reducing traffic congestion, fulfilling in parallel the objective of promoting the use of bicycles as an alternative means of transportation and integrating it into the city's mass transportation system.
