Construcción de subjetividades a través de la experiencia

Abstract

This research revolves around an interest to reflect about the experience lived through contemporary dance, the place where it occurs and the influence on those who practice it. For this project, the research was structured as follows: introduction, five chapters, conclusions and references. The introduction contextualises the reader around the inquires that came about from my personal experience to consolidate a research in which one can recognise how the subjects construct the concept of contemporary dance from an artistic stand point, bearing in mind the influence of the surroundings and context. In the first chapter two conceptual themes are presented as key elements for the analysis of the data: subject and contemporary dance. The second chapter describes the methodology used to obtain the data. The third chapter classifies and structures the information collected from each of the subjects. Chapter four analyses the data focusing in drawing out the similarities and differences among the subjects. Finally, the last chapter presents the conclusions and important ideas that resulted from the research process.
