Resumen
The thesis titled "Automation of Cartographic Analysis: Development of a Plugin for Optimizing Cartographic Processes in QGIS" focuses on the need to improve the management and updating of spatial data on platforms like QGIS. Despite the importance of accuracy and relevance of geographic information for applications such as urban planning and environmental management, current manual processes are tedious and prone to errors, affecting the efficiency and quality of results. The main objective of the project is to develop a plugin that simplifies and accelerates these tasks, reducing error margins and improving interoperability among different data sources. Specific objectives include creating tools to identify and correct errors in vector layers, designing a scalable architectural framework for the plugin, and establishing standards for data quality. The proposal is justified in the historical context of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), where plugins have proven to be an effective solution for customizing and expanding software capabilities, thereby facilitating more efficient and accurate analysis. This work aims to make a significant contribution to the field of cartographic analysis through automation and process optimization.
