Resumen
This thesis develops a methodology that provides updated information on the interaction of solar radiation with atmospheric aerosols suspended in the earth's atmosphere. In this way, the fundamental interest of this text consists; in compiling a bibliographic compilation of aerial satellite studies and terrestrial measurement instruments of atmospheric pollutants, as an input for the dissemination of these topics for different audiences, such as professors, researchers, students and others related to this problematic issue, allows future researchers to have up-to-date knowledge that contributes to the explanation of atmospheric aerosols, knowing that they are solid or liquid particles in suspension, responsible in large part for climate change, according to the intergovernmental panel, as well as a growing study in the years come, what will tend in the expansion of this field of study in Colombia. In this way, the text is developed, making a detailed description of the satellite sensors, the methodology that is generally used by means of satellites and solar photometers, is the obtaining of data; this information has a relative value. What is really interesting is the knowledge that can be inferred from the data and even more, the ability to use this knowledge in improvements for society; in a useful and understandable way.
