Resumen
Nowadays the analysis of emotions and feelings has become a popular research topic due to its applications in sectors such as marketing, education, etc. This is why different bibliographic publications have been published about methods for their analysis, from a psychological to a biological perspective, where Electroencephalography (EEG) signals have become popular due to their ease of measurement, precision and accuracy, which are used in several articles to perform the measurement process. However, none of them evidences the use of a metric or heuristic that allows to verify its level of accuracy with respect to the feeling that the person is showing. This article presents the development of an algorithm that allows processing the EEG signals measured through the Emotive Epoc+ device and determining the emotion that the person is feeling. Subsequently the value comparison algorithm that determine the result of the metric. The metric was tested on a total of 25 people, where a correct performance was evidenced with an average accuracy of approximately 81%.
