Abstract

For the realization of structural diagnoses of the vehicular bridge of the capital of the country it is required to carry out different surveying activities. In this work, these activities are described step by step in order to comply with the IDU 1436 contract that has as object "Studies and designs of structural diagnosis and seismic update of vehicular bridges of the avenue city of quito by avenida de los comuneros (Av. Calle 6), avenida ciudad de quito by avenida centenario, avenue ciudad de lima (Av. Calle 19) by avenida ciudad de quito, avenue ciudad de quito by Jorge Eliécer Gaitán avenue (Av. calle 26) and avenida centenario (Av. calle 13) by av. Boyacá "Group C -IDU-CMA-SGDU-033-2017." The current document delves into the specific surveying work for the bridges located on the avenida ciudad de quito by Avenida de los Comuneros (Av. Calle 6), where all the surveying activities that were carried out for the execution of the project will be shown, that the pertinent entity from the base topography can diagnose the state of the structure and be able to execute the best reinforcement solution for it. Where is intended to implement several technologies to accommodate the requirement of the IDU as they are, laser scanner geodesy and conventional topography as polygonal leveling, inspection of GPR networks
