Abstract

For the year 2022, the district education secretary, the culture, recreation and sports secretary, together with their affiliated and linked entities, launch the school arts festival, which aims to make visible the artistic training processes that take place. in public and private schools in the city of Bogotá. The event takes place throughout the year and is divided into different phases to give a better experience of the process. For the year 2023, those in charge of the festival make some adjustments to the event's methodology so that the second edition can reach more people, whether from the academic or private community. As a student at the Francisco José de Caldas District University, I was involved in the school arts festival as an intern, my role within the event consisted of being a mediator for the students and those in charge of the space. Thanks to my previous knowledge and also that acquired during my teaching training, I had the tools to be able to communicate with the participants in an assertive manner and also give them theoretical, visual, aesthetic and emotional support.
