Resumen
This document addresses compliance with environmental regulations and the implementation of strategies for solid waste management at the DIAN facilities in Bogotá. From a diagnosis made in different venues, the need to strengthen the solid waste management system through the guide document with a comprehensive approach, covering usable, organic, dangerous and special management waste, is identified, promoting the prevention and minimization of waste in the facilities; copying solid waste management programs and expanding the internal and externally safe treatment of them; From the separation at the source, compliance with requirements for temporal storage, the reports or forms of the waste generated, the measurement and delivery to the authorized managers.
Following this study, structural, operational and management challenges are analyzed that affect regulatory compliance, such as the lack of adequate infrastructure, basic equipment and training processes. The study highlights the importance of establishing sustainable practices, improving the separation in the source and guaranteeing an adequate disposal of waste, in order to minimize environmental impacts, operational risks and ensure legal compliance. The DIAN assumes the commitment to implement an environmental management system that promotes institutional sustainability and serves as an example for other public entities.
