Resumen
In this project, multiple solutions, alternatives and corrective strategies are proposed in order to solve the problem on the solid waste management system in Bogotá, Colombia. To that end, a study is carried out on the solid waste management system from its planning to its implementation, using a systemic approach and the complexity theory; from this study a simulation model is built to identify the weaknesses of the system, to design changes in order to correct said weaknesses and to apply the changes to the model itself with the aim of observing the behavior of the system when corrective strategies are injected. This process make it possible to show that the current system has deficiencies (in planning and execution) which can be solved with concepts such as feedback, teleology, simple agents and emergence, all of them contained in multiple solutions and changes designed throughout the project, based on which implementation strategies are created, strategies to transfer everything proposed from the mental domain (the simulation model) to reality.
