Visor geográfico web para la presentación de datos históricos y actuales de la calidad del aire en Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

In this monograph, a geographic web viewer was developed using free software technologies (Qgis, Postgis, Geoserver, Html, CSS, Javascript) that allows consulting and viewing historical air quality data in the city of Bogotá DC, capital of Colombia, between the years 2013 and 2020. The gases that are taken into account for this study are: CO (Carbon monoxide), PM2.5 and PM10 (particulate matter of 2.5 microns and 10 microns), SO2 (Sulfur dioxide ), NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide) and NO (Nitrogen Monoxide). The viewer has two tools that were defined in the functional requirements, the first allows the user to consult a specific day about the concentration of a particular gas and the second allows a visual tour through a time slider (line time) which shows the behavior of a particular gas in a range of dates defined by the user.
