Abstract

Promoting the well-being of students from an early age is a responsibility of educators in the school environment. There must be a balance between the academic and personal sphere, always taking into account the emotional world of children, and even the teacher. In this way, the objective of this degree work is to promote Social and Emotional Learning in elementary students through the use of strategies to strengthen their emotional intelligence. With Human Development at its core, manual written journals are used as a tool to give students more opportunities to exploit their abilities and give priority to their emotional expression. During the process, the chosen methodology is presented, along with the findings found after analyzing the experience between students and teachers. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are given for future educators who want to use the same guidelines.
