Planeación, diseño y construcción de una red de fibra óptica con solución preconectorizada ODN 3.0 de Huawei para la ciudad de Pamplona - Colombia

Abstract

The Huawei company carried out a big fiber to the home (FTTH) project in the country to be able to provide coverage in several cities. This Project was carried out in the city of Pamplona - Colombia, which the objective is to be able to bring a quality optical fiber network to the home with Huawei equipment and technology together with one of the largest telecommunications operators nationwide as is the company CLARO. For this project, several stages were carried out, such as the site survey in the city, in order to know the number of possible clients that would take the service. Also, the survey poles information was carried out in the city, to know the route that would take the optical fiber. Based on this information, the design of the city would be carried out through which the fiber would pass from the OLT to the FAT box. Subsequently, the request for permits would be made to the power company CENS to be able to use the poles and build the ODN network. Finally, the power tests would be carried out to guarantee the delivery quality before CLARO and the end user. With this completed project, more projects can be carried out in more cities in the rest of the country to, in this way, continue connecting more people with a quality fiber optic service.
