Abstract

Humic acids (HA) are compounds extracted from natural products such as soil substrate, vegetables and organic compounds such as coal. They are characterized by providing the soil with properties that allow it to increase its ion exchange capacity and thus allow the transport of nutrients and other important components for the growth of plants. In the case of health, in recent years there have been great contributions regarding antibacterial treatments and they are being used as a natural treatment in some fields of pharmacology. This document will focus on the current status of the pharmacological applications of AH in various studies.
