Resumen
This project is part of the research “subjectivities, diversity and aesthetic in the educational context”, A view from the Bachelor of Childhood Education of the University Francisco José de Caldas. The study presents the compilation of an educational experience carried out in FUNES (Educational Foundation for Special Children) which aims to improve the quality of life of children and young adults who attend there. In this reason, two adaptive skills were strengthened: self-care and self-regulation, giving an educational offer to the foundation that enables the development of human beings in all their dimensions, allowing its students cope in society. The project has taken forward the issue of adaptive skills and their development through play experiences, these being a major educational resource for people with disabilities, due to the possibility offered to establish meaningful and best experiences and Communication ways. The proposal is aimed to educational FUNES agents and all those who accept the challenge of integrating fun experiences to education and, at the same time, who experiment freely, searching relentlessly, in pursuit of a comprehensive education for children, youth and adults with disabilities.
