Resumen
This monograph is based on the theoretical-bibliographic review regarding the conceptualization of Industry 4.0, Labor Skills and / or Competencies, the main classifications of skills and / or competencies in the workplace and the origin, development, importance and characteristics of Employability in the world of work. Then, based on the research "Job Competencies and Skills in Latin America: a Look from Industry 4.0" (Sáenz, García, & Espitia, 2020), in which the most relevant employability skills were identified within the framework of Industry 4.0, Scientometric analysis is carried out with the support of statistical visualizations (scientometric maps, treemaps, boxcharts, heatmaps and forecast) and computer and programming tools (R, Matlab, Python, Vosviewer and Microsoft Excel) of these skills for the Engineering programs offered in Colombia, listing, first, the Keywords that are explicitly related to each engineering program; second, refining the information obtained and leaving only the Keywords that are closely related to employability skills in engineering programs; and finally, statistically analyzing the results obtained in order to identify the most relevant employability skills for the representative macrogroups of the Engineering Programs offered in Colombia.
