Resumen
The serious impact and deterioration of the environment caused by the productive sector has given rise to regulations and the creation of specialized organizations such as the International Standardization Organization (ISO), founded in 1947 in Geneva, a non-governmental organization that establishes standards such as ISO 14001:15 of great importance for the implementation of the environmental management system that seeks to establish sustainability between the environment, society, the economy and the organization in order to preserve and maintain a healthy environment. It is a company of high recognition and experience in the metalworking industry, a company committed to the preservation and care of the environment, which has an environmental management department that promotes the development of this environmental management system design project that will be the basis for the implementation of the standard in the future, since its implementation was not contemplated within the scope of this project. Within the design, the environmental aspects and impacts were identified, which allowed establishing the objectives, environmental policy, goals, risks and opportunities, verifying the guidelines for continuous improvement with the development of the PHVA cycle, without forgetting the importance of quality in the production process. and its development in an appropriate manner and the evaluation of the product's life cycle, for which the commitment of senior management, area managers and all the collaborators was decisive for the development of this project and the progress in the planning, evaluation and training required for each of the areas to strengthen, minimize and control the environmental impacts generated by the development of its activity.
