Resumen
The qualitative research work: “Democratizing communication: Space for community media from Bogotá in public politics from Colombia” analyzes the process of democratization of community media through the “Central de Comunicación Comunitaria y Alternativa de Bogotá”, with regard to the incidence of public politics from national and district communication. For this reason, since ethnographic design, it was intended to understand its communicational system, based on the introspective interpretation of communicative practices, with the comparative analysis from national public politics, where the current ICT Law 1978 of 2019 is involved, a regulation that provides more stimulus to suppliers of foreign concentration and national economic conglomerates. By which, the community media are organized as a union, in order to have an impact on district laws, which allow them to be recognized in the financial and infrastructural guidelines; in addition to generating autonomous, counterinformative and social impact practices, such as the challenge to a recognition of communication as a right and not as a merchandise.
