Apoyo a la empresa Lamac en la generación e implementación de un Sistema de Información Geográfico referente a infraestructura vial de algunos municipios de Cundinamarca

Abstract

Taking into account the work of support to administrative projects at the national, departmental and municipal levels, in functions of formulation and viability, where it is recurrent the elaboration of reports that show the management carried out by the different governmental entities according to their goals and indicators and considering that a large number of these projects are related to road improvement in certain municipalities of Cundinamarca which are monitored by the company LAMAC - Gestión, Consultoría y Asesoría SAS, the following internship project was based on the development and implementation of a System of Geographic Information (GIS) that includes road information of the municipalities of Cundinamarca in which the company has interference, with the intention of graphically representing the spatial location of the road sections to intervene. For this purpose it was necessary to use the information acquired through the municipalities, represented in base maps and / or road plans; nevertheless, it was necessary to resort to the open data of the IGAC (Geographic Institute Agustín Codazzi) and of the MGN (National Geostatistical Framework) of the DANE, to complement the SIG. Likewise, the topological validation of the elements that make up the geographic databases was included in order to add a quality control to the work delivered.
