Resignificacion cultural. Una evidencia desde el análisis de la construcción del imaginario social que moviliza las representaciones artísticas del grupo de música Surativa Parlante

Abstract

This work is proposed from three key areas: cultural redefinition, social imaginary and musical artistic performances. Its object of study is the fusion music group Talking Surativa which develops its musical performances in the city of Bogota. It is argued that this group from their artistic practices could support the development of a process of cultural redefinition. However, it is not possible to reach the above statement, without specific factors can prove it. It is for this reason that the concept of social imaginary, which serve as a liaison to achieve evidence that process is addressed. The main objective of this research is to make clear the research process, from analysis of the construction of the social imaginary that mobilizes musical practices. The use of methodological strategies to be proposed from the audiovisual analysis, the ethnographic method and participant observation, which are proposed by their relevance to the work performed. The interpretive analysis done of artistic representations, the social imaginary and the process of redefinition, it becomes essential for research findings and conclusions item.
