Análisis comparativo temporal de las emisiones de fuentes fijas en el Parque Industrial Mochuelo

Abstract

During the internship at the Environmental Laboratory and Innovation Directorate (DLIA) of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Cundinamarca (CAR), a comprehensive database was obtained from three different dates: 2017, 2019, and 2023. These dates represent specific periods in which exhaustive analyses were made of the pollutants emanating from the fixed sources of the Mochuelo Industrial Park, in Bogotá, Colombia. The main focus of the internship was to carry out a temporal comparative analysis of the emissions from fixed sources in the aforementioned industrial park. This analysis was done with the DLIA's fixed source group in three months. The motivation behind this study was the presence of air pollution in the area, attributed to the various clay factories present in the Mochuelo Industrial Park. Additionally, the methodologies used in the sampling of emissions from fixed sources were documented in detail, making sure to follow the corresponding current regulations. This methodological approach allowed obtaining comparable data in the three periods analysed, thus providing a comprehensive view of the evolution of polluting emissions in the Mochuelo Industrial Park between 2017 and 2023. The development of the internship not only contributed to the strengthening of professional training, but also allowed acquiring new knowledge in the field of air pollution and highlighted the importance of maintaining high air quality in Bogotá.
