Resumen
This document collects the analysis of four cases of families enrolled in homeschooling, unschooling, home schooling or voluntary unschooling. Through an approach to four cases for their study, which is elaborated under the hermeneutical methodology from narrative analysis techniques (Labov, 1972, 1997 and François, 2004) of girls and boys who learn inside the home and in non-school settings; It is intended to understand this phenomenon in the light of the direct voices of the actors approached, that is, of the minors and their parents. It starts from an academic and professional interest in understanding this teaching-learning dynamic, whose origin is distant but which, due to the latest transformations that have occurred in society, is shown as a possible alternative, although not entirely legitimate. The main motivation of this research is to make an approximation to the elements that allow us to understand what it is to be educated at home, under the guidance of the family, the oldest training institution, yes; but without the intervention of the School, an entity that assumes the role of educator by nature. And what do home-school girls and boys have to say about it.
