Abstract

This document describes the process of carrying out a maintenance plan preventive applied to the equipment and components of the production in the company metalmecánica Aplimec Ltda. To start the project, a study is carried out at the characteristics of the company and the products and services it offers. Will be investigated about the application and the type of maintenance that has been applied so far to identify the shortcomings and contributions of this. A study of the failure history of the machines is proposed, identifying the defects and faults that present both visually and operationally, followed by the information obtained carry out the inventory of the machines that make up the plant and thus keep carry out a criticality analysis of each one to identify priorities according to their status and its relevance in production. Finally, a set of activities would be proposed that would be carried out gradually, which aims to improve the functioning of the assets and extend the useful life of these. With the implementation of the proposed works, it will be possible to improve the quality of the work of each of the machines and also reduce the probability of failures and defects.
