Resumen
The main objective of this research was to propose a didactic proposal of virtual activities in which, through simulation, the understanding of the concept of stoichiometry in the area of chemistry is possible. For this purpose, four phases were carried out: 1) a survey with a short survey to know the notion of interactive simulations; 2) the development of a teaching guide with twenty-four tenth grade students; 3) a pilot test with seven students in which nonparticipatory observation was carried out and 4) a validation interview with the students who applied the pilot test. Data collection codes were used in the content analysis of the documents obtained. This is how the data was collected and from there the effectiveness and how students perceive the simulations within the teaching and learning processes are analyzed, where it motivates them to have greater participation and to progress in basic competencies such as the interpretation of phenomena in the area of chemistry. It is concluded that interactive simulations are a technological tool that helps to understand the phenomena that occur at a micro level and helps to better interpret them without having to resort to algorithmic tools such as mathematics or theoretical tools such as analogies. It is recommended that teachers be trained to integrate technologies and technological instruments into the teaching and learning processes.
