The Environmental Engineering program of the District University, advancing in its process of continuous self-evaluation and projecting itself to the High Quality Accreditation, requires an analysis of the "national and international visibility". The above based on the guide "Methodological guidelines for the self-assessment of undergraduate courses (Adaptation of the CNA model 2013)" (UDFJC, 2013) which includes this new factor that incorporates two characteristics: i) Insertion of Curricular Project in national and international academics contexts, and ii) External relations of teachers and students, in addition to guidelines for the measurement of indicators as a basic analysis tool, accompanied by statistical methodologies aimed at providing results that contribute to improve the positioning of the program at national and international level through the definition of strategies that strengthen these processes of visibility. According to that this research seeks to collect and analyze the relevant information related to topics of curricula internationalization, trends in environmental engineering at national and international level, dynamics of academic mobility and participation in academic activities by teachers, students and graduates; this in order to answer the following research questions: i) How is the National and International visibility factor of Environmental Engineering of the “Francisco José de Caldas” District University?
