Resumen
This is a documentary investigation, where a review of academic texts of natural sciences is made, delving into the Active Sequences of Natural Sciences of the Ministry of National Education in Colombia, emphasizing the biological contents, investigating the biological conception that underlies in These texts, in the type of citizenship, whether it recognizes problems or elements of the context and whether there is a relationship between teaching biology and the construction of citizenships, through an analytical file and the use of the Atlas TI program allowing to determine that academic texts, to explain the biological content, use the descriptive biological conception, the systemic biological conception and the sociocultural biological conception; Citizenships such as universal citizenship, scientific citizenship, multicultural-intercultural citizenship are determined, environmental citizenship and gender citizenship emerge as typical of the texts, in turn, the texts also refer to environmental and sociocultural issues and it is necessary highlight that the texts guide students to what they should be environmentally responsible, the importance of understanding gender is dazzled, the existence of the chapter called Science, Technology and Society is denoted and it is also reflected that health is used as a mechanism to bring the student closer to biological content, whether to inform, prevent or involve him with his environment. This research is the result of the first phase of the research project: "Education in biology and the construction of citizenships: A Latin American Perspective".
